How do I make a reservation?

All reservations are made through OpenTable.com. Simply select your date, time, and party size, then choose your karaoke room. In the “Special Requests” section, you can indicate how many hours you’d like to reserve. If not specified, the default block (2 or 3 hours depending on the room) will be applied automatically. For large group parties and corporate events, email reservation@takbistro.com

How long are room reservations?

Room reservations are booked by default in time blocks to ensure the best karaoke experience. Cheongdam and Gangnam Rooms are reserved in 3-hour blocks, while Itaewon, Hongdae, and Jongro Rooms are reserved in 2-hour blocks. If you’d like more or less time, simply include your request when booking on OpenTable, and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

What are the room rates?

Our pricing is based on room size and guest capacity. Cheongdam Room is $150 per hour and fits up to 25 guests. Gangnam Room is $120 per hour for up to 12 guests. Itaewon, Hongdae, and Jongro Rooms are $75 per hour on peak days and $60 per hour on non-peak days, each designed for up to 8 guests. Rates are applied per room, per hour.

Can I extend my reservation?

Yes! If you’d like to extend your karaoke time, we’ll be happy to accommodate as long as the room is available. Extensions can be requested in advance by adding a note when booking through OpenTable or by asking a staff member during your reservation. Please note that extensions are subject to availability and billed at the standard hourly rate.

Can I bring outside food or drinks?

For the comfort and safety of all guests, outside food and drinks are not allowed inside our karaoke rooms or dining areas. We encourage you to enjoy our full menu of Korean dishes, cocktails, and drinks available for order directly in your room. Our team is happy to help with recommendations to make your karaoke experience even more enjoyable.

What if my group is late?

Karaoke reservations begin at the scheduled start time. If your group arrives late, the time will still be counted toward your final bill. If you know your group will be delayed, please call us so we can do our best to adjust when possible. Reservations are held for up to 15 minutes if you are late. After the 15-minute grace period, your reservation may be marked as a no-show and the room or table released to other guests.

Do you require a deposit?

A deposit is not required for standard reservations, including table and karaoke reservations. However, OpenTable will require a valid credit card at the time of booking to secure your spot. This card is only charged if your party cancels late or is marked as a no-show, in accordance with our cancellation policy. All final bills for food, drinks, and room charges are paid on-site at the end of your reservation. Large group parties over 25 people may require a deposit.

How do cancellations work?

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your scheduled reservation through OpenTable. After this time, cancellations are considered late and may result in a per-person fee as noted when booking.

Is karaoke song selection updated?

Yes! Our karaoke system is updated daily to bring you the latest songs across multiple genres and languages. Whether you want to sing the newest K-pop hit, classic American pop, Japanese ballads, or timeless rock anthems, you’ll find an ever-growing selection of tracks to choose from. Your favorites are always just a few clicks away.

Do you offer food and drinks in the rooms?

Absolutely. All karaoke rooms have full access to our menu of Korean dishes, cocktails, beer, and soju. You can order directly from your server, and everything will be delivered to your room so you can keep the music going without interruption. It’s the perfect way to pair delicious food and drinks with your karaoke experience.

Can I request specific songs to be added?

Song requests cannot be made. Every track in our karaoke system is officially licensed with the original artist, which guarantees the best sound quality. If a song is not available, it means the artist has not released the soundtrack for karaoke use. Updates happen daily, but only with tracks that are properly licensed.

What language are available in the karaoke system?

Our karaoke system features thousands of songs across multiple languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Filipino, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian, and Yanbian. The system is updated daily so you’ll always find the latest hits and timeless classics to enjoy.

Are minors allowed in the karaoke rooms?

Yes, minors are welcome when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please note that after certain evening hours, rooms may be restricted to 21+ if alcohol is being served. IDs will be checked for anyone ordering drinks.

How is the bill handled for karaoke rooms?

All charges—including room fees, food, and drinks—are combined into a single bill for your convenience. While we prefer one payment per room, we’re happy to split checks upon request. Please note that for groups of 6 or more, a 20% automatic gratuity (AutoGrat) will be applied to the final bill, including when checks are split.

Do you offer decorations for special occasions?

Guests are welcome to bring small decorations such as balloons (non-helium), table décor, or signs for birthdays and celebrations. Helium balloons, confetti, glitter, or items that may damage walls or furniture are not allowed. Setup and cleanup time is included in your reserved hours, and guests are required to remove all decorations before leaving the room.

Is gratuity automatically added?

For groups of 6 or more, a 20% automatic gratuity (AutoGrat) will be added to the final bill. Please note that this AutoGrat is not considered the full tip but a base amount. Guests are encouraged to add additional gratuity at their discretion to recognize exceptional service.

Can I book for private or corporate parties?

Yes! We host birthdays, celebrations, wedding after parties, bachelorette parties, and corporate events of all sizes. Private buyouts, large group reservations, and custom packages are available. Our events team can help tailor food, drinks, and karaoke to your needs. Please reach out directly for details and to plan your special event.

Is parking available nearby?

We do not have private parking, but several public garages and metered street parking options are available nearby. For convenience and safety, especially if you plan on drinking, we strongly encourage using ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft.

Do you have a dress code?

We don’t enforce a strict dress code, but we encourage guests to come in casual or business casual attire. Dress comfortably, but also feel free to dress up—after all, it’s party time!

Are pets allowed?

While we love all kind of pets, only service animals are permitted inside our restaurant and karaoke rooms. Pets, emotional support animals, and non-service animals are not allowed to ensure the comfort, safety, and cleanliness of all guests.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

No. Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited inside the restaurant and karaoke rooms. A cleaning fee will be applied if this rule is violated, and repeat or severe violations may result in civil action.

Can we take photos or videos?

Yes! Guests are welcome to capture their karaoke and dining experience with photos and videos. We encourage you to share your memories on social media and mention/tag us so we can celebrate with you. Please be mindful of other guests’ privacy.

What happens if we damage equipment or property?

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to rooms, furniture, or equipment during their reservation. Repair or replacement costs will be charged to the guest or party responsible. Please treat our space with care so everyone can enjoy their experience.

Do you charge a cleaning fee?

A cleaning fee may be charged if the room is left excessively dirty. In particular, if a guest becomes sick due to excessive drinking and cleanup is required, a cleaning fee will be applied to the final bill. Please drink responsibly and know your limits.

Do you allow same-day walk-in reservations?

Yes! Walk-ins are welcome, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. Room availability is not guaranteed without a reservation, so we recommend booking ahead on OpenTable whenever possible to secure your preferred time.
